If you’ve been missing pizza on carnivore, this one’s for you. My community actually named it Carnizza, and it’s my carnivore spin on pizza that hits way closer to the “real thing” than it has any right to.
You get a cheesy, crisp-edged crust that holds up like a legit slice… then you top it however you want: classic pepperoni, sausage, extra cheese…go wild.
Ingredients
Crust
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella (6 oz)
- 1 oz cream cheese (2 tbsp)
- 1 large egg, whisked
- ¾ cup pork panko (68 g)
Toppings
- ½ cup sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1–2 oz pepperoni or sausage
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine mozzarella, cream cheese, whisked egg, and pork panko.
- Microwave for 90 seconds total, stirring every 30 seconds, until the mixture is warm and easy to mix.
- Place the mixture on a lined baking sheet and spread into a 12-inch circle.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, add sauce, cheese, and your toppings.
- Bake for 8–10 more minutes, until golden and bubbly.
Tips for the Best Carnizza
Want extra browning? Broil for 1–2 minutes at the end—just watch it closely.
Line your pan (parchment helps a lot) so it doesn’t stick and you can lift it easily.
For a crispier crust, spread it evenly and don’t make the center too thick.
