Rich, Creamy, and Completely Carnivore

If you’ve been missing gravy on your carnivore or animal-based lifestyle, this one’s for you. It’s simple, creamy, and completely free of flours or starches — just pure, savory goodness made from broth and cream. The best part? You can make it ahead of time and keep it ready for your Thanksgiving table.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups chicken bone broth
  • ½ cup cream (plus an extra splash if needed)

Instructions

  1. In a small pot, combine the bone broth and cream.
  2. Bring it to a boil, then reduce to an intense simmer.
  3. Let it simmer and reduce for about 1 hour, until it thickens.
  4. You’ll go from roughly 4½ cups of liquid down to about ¾ cup.
  5. Taste and adjust — if it’s a bit too salty, add a splash of cream to balance it out.
  6. Stir and serve warm over your turkey, steak, or whatever’s on your carnivore feast plate.

Notes

  • You can easily double the recipe for a larger group.
  • Store in a glass jar in the fridge for up to 5 days — just reheat gently before serving.
  • Perfect with any Thanksgiving roast, or even poured over eggs for a quick post-holiday breakfast.

nice to meet you

For the majority of my life I've had a wonky relationship with food. I was 100% an emotional eater and was finally able to heal my relationship with food. Eating this way has changed everything. I no longer obsess about food. Desires to binge on my old comfort foods are gone. My energy is though the roof and I've never felt better. I have improved my mental health, my mood and I can honestly say that I am THRIVING. I am here to support you in any way that I can as you heal your body with food.
