Rich, Creamy, and Completely Carnivore
If you’ve been missing gravy on your carnivore or animal-based lifestyle, this one’s for you. It’s simple, creamy, and completely free of flours or starches — just pure, savory goodness made from broth and cream. The best part? You can make it ahead of time and keep it ready for your Thanksgiving table.
Ingredients
- 4 cups chicken bone broth
- ½ cup cream (plus an extra splash if needed)
Instructions
- In a small pot, combine the bone broth and cream.
- Bring it to a boil, then reduce to an intense simmer.
- Let it simmer and reduce for about 1 hour, until it thickens.
- You’ll go from roughly 4½ cups of liquid down to about ¾ cup.
- Taste and adjust — if it’s a bit too salty, add a splash of cream to balance it out.
- Stir and serve warm over your turkey, steak, or whatever’s on your carnivore feast plate.
Notes
- You can easily double the recipe for a larger group.
- Store in a glass jar in the fridge for up to 5 days — just reheat gently before serving.
- Perfect with any Thanksgiving roast, or even poured over eggs for a quick post-holiday breakfast.
