Lately, I’ve realized I’m basically reinventing my entire life at almost 42 years old.
And honestly? I think this is a good reminder that it is never too late to make changes, start over, pivot, evolve, or finally do the things you actually want to do. So many of us stay stuck because we think we’re “too old,” too comfortable, too established, or too far down one path to change directions. But we only get one life. One.
So if something has been pulling at you, lighting you up, or whispering to you that there might be more out there for you, maybe it’s worth listening to.
I don’t have everything figured out yet, but I’m learning that sometimes the magic is in being willing to begin again anyway.
Four months ago, we left our house to travel the country and look for a new place to live. Which sounds either really inspiring or slightly unhinged depending on who you ask.
Honestly, I wish I would have started this new channel the second we pulled out of the driveway because there has been so much I could have documented along the way. The chaos. The Airbnb hopping.
The family adventures. The “is this where we should move?” conversations. The emotional support iced coffees. But I’m choosing to believe the timing, although late, is still exactly how it’s supposed to be. Apparently the plot line needed a slower build.
I did try sharing some vlogs on my carnivore channel, but I always felt like I had to somehow tie everything back to steak so it fit the audience. And while carnivore is still a huge part of my life, I’m realizing I’m more than just carnivore and carnivore recipes. I want to share more of our actual life! The travel, the behind-the-scenes, the family moments, the house hunting, the random chaos, and all the things that have absolutely nothing to do with grass-fed butter.
So… we started a new channel. And honestly? I’m really excited about it.I would love for you to come join us as we share more of our lifestyle, our travels, and our search for wherever we’re supposed to end up next. Right now we’re leaning toward the Carolinas, but we still have a lot to explore before we make any big decisions.
Apparently choosing where to live for the rest of your life is mildly stressful. I share more about all of that in our latest video, so come check out our very first vlog. And please leave suggestions in the comments for places you think we should check out next because at this point I feel like Zillow and I are in a committed relationship. I’m really excited for this new chapter and can’t wait to share more with you guys.
